We currently have an exciting opportunity for the following full-time position within our company: -

Cable Interface Engineer.

The successful applicant will be an integral part of our Engineering Team and will ideally have experience in the design of control and protection systems for electricity substations within the UK, this should include but not limited to: -

• Creation of cable interface drawings from detailed circuit/schematic diagrams, including the design of cable schedules, cable block diagrams, cable connection/termination diagrams, cable core sheets and cable routing drawings.
• The ability to provide supporting cable sizing calculations to validate cable interface designs/drawings.
• Preparation of detailed wiring diagrams for the manufacture of control and protection cubicles.
• The modification of existing site drawings, including the preparation of additions/deletions for drawings associated with any other site equipment’s.
• The use of AutoCAD would ideally be preferred, however, in house training can be provided.
